Derived from the FIM WorldSBK Championship, the Ninja ZX-10R encapsulates decades of world-class road racing innovation. Carrying Kawasaki Racing Team (KRT) rider, Jonathan Rea, to six consecutive championship titles, the ZX-10R is built for maximum performance, power and adrenaline.
So what's new for Kawasaki’s Ninja ZX-10R in 2021?
The redesigned front end features integrated winglets, which Kawasaki claims to create 17% more downforce. With an already impressive aerodynamic design, this increased downforce further helps plant the chassis and wheels to the ground, providing riders greater control of the machine.
The new race-style TFT dash is packed with rider customizability, allowing the choice between riding modes, enabling cruise control and adjusting traction control. With Bluetooth capability and a seamlessly integrated design within the “cockpit” of the bike, the highly visible screen has automatic adjustable brightness, for riding ease.
Coming standard to the new Ninja ZX-10R is the two-way quick shifter, and a comprehensive electrics package, innovating modern riding technology. The in-line four, liquid-cooled 998cc engine produces a staggering 200Hp and claims to have 114.9Nm of peak torque at 11,400rpm. With this amount of power, thankfully Kawasaki has thought about braking, strapping a dual high-spec Brembo M50 monobloc calliper, gripping large 330 mm discs, delivering next-level braking performance.
