The XC line-up features the same aggressively built engine (from the SX models), exhaust system, frame, rising-rate shock linkage, billet triple clamps, map-selector switch, and a suspension package that is motocross and enduro capable. - WP’s link-type shock absorber and 48mm “AER” air-sprung fork - SX models.
The cross-country models all use the same engine, clutch, engine mapping and exhaust systems as their motocross counterparts.
So what makes the XC models separate from their motocross cousins?
The 18-inch rear wheel, for extra traction and a more compliant ride experience.
For longer days on the trails, the XC models are equipped with an extended range fuel tank.
A beefier stator and wiring loom - which gives them the ability to run a headlight.
