Yamaha’s MT-07, is one of the most recognisable and revered models Yamaha has to offer. The younger sibling to the MT-09 and MT-10, the MT-07 continues the family's MT (Master Torque) legacy of affordable, street enjoyment. The launch of the new 2021 MT-07 promises an engaging engine with more linear response, more powerful front brakes and next-generation bodywork. Now this is worth looking forward to!
Arriving in Yamaha dealerships in the first half of 2021, the new MT-07LA is available in 3 colour variations:
- Storm Fluo
- Icon Blue
- Tech Black
(The full-powered MT-07 will be available in the Tech Black)
Reflecting the ongoing aesthetic evolution of the MT family, the MT-07 looks refined, sleek and personifies a quality feel. The compact and minimalist new LED headlight assembly steals the show, and most notably captures the signature look of the next generational bodywork for the MT series.
Let's talk power! The latest 689cc 2-cylinder CP2 engine features a revised air intake design and optimised fuel injector settings. A new ECU and 2-into-1 exhaust allows for a more linear engine response, which beginner riders will find to be a welcomed addition.
With a maximum torque of 67.0Nm at just 6500rpm, this is a thrilling middleweight power plant. The punchy 2-cylinder is the centerpiece of the MT-07, and is the reason why it's just so much fun to ride. Afterall, when it's a part of the Master Torque (Family), you’d sure hope it's got some grunt.
